【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestwomethodsforevaluatingthemeltingbehaviourofsemi-crystallinepolymers.Meltingtemperaturesdeterminedbythedifferentmethodsusuallydifferbyseveralkelvinsforthereasonsexplainedintheintroduction.MethodA:CapillarytubeThismethodisbasedonthechangesinshapeofthepolymer.Itisapplicabletoallsemi-crystallinepolymersandtheircompounds.NOTE1MethodAmayalsobeusefulfortheevaluationofthesofteningofnon-crystallinesolids.MethodB:PolarizingmicroscopeThismethodisbasedonchangesintheopticalpropertiesofthepolymer.Itisapplicabletopolymerscontainingabirefringentcrystallinephase.Itmaynotbesuitableforplasticscompoundscontainingpigmentsand/orotheraddi-tiveswhichcouldinterferewiththebirefringenceofthepolymericcrystallinezone.NOTE2Anothermethodapplicabletosemi-crystallinepolymersisdescribedinISO11357-3:1999,Plastics—Differentialscan-ningcalorimetry(DSC)—Part3:Determinationoftemperatureandenthalpyofmeltingandcrystallization.
